Our expertise in industrial refrigeration for every food sector

Tailored solutions to control the quality and safety of your products:

Meat and meat products

Slaughtering and transforming meat into meat products (raw, cut, fresh, prepared or cooked) requires perfect mastery of processes. Trimming, mincing, cooking, rapid cooling and packaging: each stage is crucial to guaranteeing a quality product leaving the plant.

At Axima Réfrigération, we work with you to design customized refrigeration solutions tailored to your needs. We optimize the heat treatment of your processes and ensure optimum preservation conditions in your production and storage rooms. Cold distribution is adjusted according to the thermal requirements of each zone, and real-time monitoring is set up to prevent any deviation, guaranteeing compliance with hygiene and traceability standards.

Bakeries, pastries and ingredients

The production of ready-to-bake raw dough or pre-cooked products, fresh or frozen, requires perfect mastery of temperature-controlled processes. This includes key stages such as flour storage, weighing, kneading, and an important phase in the fermentation chambers. The production cycle ends with baking, rapid cooling or freezing. The impact of refrigeration is decisive at every stage, as is the rigorous maintenance of the cold chain in the various rooms through which the product passes.

We design complete, customized solutions for your bakery, Viennese pastry and related products plants. Our systems guarantee an optimal environment in each production and preservation area, thanks to precise segmentation of spaces and cold distribution adapted to specific thermal requirements. Our real-time monitoring systems enable us to monitor temperatures and prevent any deviation, thus guaranteeing safe production conditions.

Backed by our expertise, we help you optimize the thermal treatment of your processes while guaranteeing a healthy production and storage environment that complies with requirements in terms of hygiene, traceability and comfort for your teams.

Dairy products

Processing dairy products requires expert mastery of the various stages of milk treatment, such as filtration, clarification, cooling, standardization and pasteurization. Each finished product - whether yoghurt, cheese, butter, UHT milk or milk powder - has its own specific refrigeration requirements. Strict maintenance of the cold chain, from receipt of the raw milk to storage of the finished product, is essential to preserve the sanitary quality of these reputedly fragile products.

At Axima Réfrigération, we offer turnkey refrigeration solutions, specially designed for your dairy and related production units. We ensure a clean, safe environment at every stage of your process, thanks to precise zone segmentation and cold distribution adapted to each thermal requirement. Thanks to real-time monitoring, we detect any deviation, guaranteeing food safety, traceability, operator comfort and equipment hygiene.

Fruits and vegetables

Precise temperature management is essential for slowing down the respiration of fruit and vegetables, thus extending their shelf life. Relative humidity also plays a crucial role in influencing water loss, which can lead to wilting or dehydration. Similarly, the concentration of oxygen, carbon dioxide and ethylene in the storage atmosphere can speed up or slow down the ripening and aging process.

To meet these challenges, we design cold rooms adapted to each type of fruit or vegetable, whether apples, kiwis, peaches, bananas, onions, shallots, potatoes, broccoli, etc.

We integrate a real-time monitoring system in the storage room to control temperature, hygrometry and atmosphere, detecting any deviation to guarantee product quality. Our solutions also adjust to seasonal variations and your changing productivity needs (harvesting period, ripening blockage, bagging, atmosphere vacuum, disinfection, etc.

Seafood products

Buying, processing and distributing fish products is a sensitive business due to the perishable and fragile nature of marine products. To succeed, it is essential to maintain a high level of quality and safety. Perfect mastery of the cold chain is crucial to preserving the freshness of seafood products and thus optimizing profit margins.

At Axima Réfrigération, we work with you to design tailor-made refrigeration solutions for your seafood workshops. We optimize your storage, ice production, ice silos and rapid cooling, whether by air or soaking. Our aim? Ensure total control of the cold chain, minimize your losses and preserve the quality of your seafood.

Frozen foods and ice cream

The rigorous management of the cold chain right from the receipt of raw materials (milk, cream, fruit, vegetables, meat, etc.) is essential to guarantee high-quality finished products. Freezing plays a key role in preserving the organoleptic and nutritional qualities of products. Storing frozen products and ice creams at very low temperatures is essential to maintain their freshness and quality right through to consumption.

Frozen and ice cream production is particularly energy-intensive. So it's crucial to invest in energy-efficient freezing and refrigeration equipment.

At Axima Réfrigération, we work with you to design customized refrigeration solutions tailored to your needs. We install freezer tunnels and contact freezers that enable precise control of freezing speed and temperature, thus avoiding the formation of ice crystals that can alter the texture of your products. Our real-time tracking systems enable continuous monitoring of storage and transport conditions. We optimize your production processes to minimize raw material and finished product waste, while integrating control systems to quickly detect production faults and react 24/7.

Beers and spirits

Beer and spirits production requires rigorous temperature control at every stage of the process. From brewing to bottling, refrigeration plays an essential role in the quality and preservation of your products.

For 150 years, Axima Réfrigération has supported breweries and distilleries worldwide. Our long-standing expertise, applied to your projects, guarantees reliable, high-performance and energy-efficient solutions. Our systems enable you to control temperatures at every stage of production (kilning, germination, distillation, fermentation, maturation, etc.), for exceptional finished products. Thanks to perfect cold control, we guarantee optimal fermentations, preserved aromas and consistent quality for your beers and spirits.

As experts in CO₂ technologies, we also support you in the recovery, purification, liquefaction and vaporization of the CO₂ resulting from fermentation. By recovering this gas, you optimize your brewing process while reducing your costs and your ecological footprint.

Oenology

Wine-making requires precise control of the various stages from grape processing to wine ageing, such as harvest cooling, temperature control during the various fermentations (alcoholic, malolactic), filtration, clarification, stabilization and packaging. Each finished product - whether white, rosé or red - imposes its own specific refrigeration requirements. Strict maintenance of the cold chain, from grape reception to wine storage, is essential to preserve the conservation and organoleptic qualities of your exceptional products.

Whether you're a wine merchant, independent producer, or cooperative winery, we support you at every stage of your oenological process with tailor-made refrigeration solutions.

Aware of the challenges posed by climate change, we have developed an innovative solution adapted to multiple grape varieties: the Cellule de Refroidissement Rapide des Raisins (C3R). At harvest time, when temperatures are very high, it enables grapes to be cooled rapidly to avoid impacting their quality and the subsequent winemaking process.
