How does it work?
Heat pumps require two elements to operate: low-temperature energy and electricity. Low-temperature energy can come from the environment (ambient air, watercourses, groundwater) or from the recovery of waste energy emitted during industrial processes (waste heat from machines, furnaces, cooling systems).
This heat is captured, transformed and raised to a precise temperature thanks to a fraction of electrical energy, before being transferred to the medium to be heated (water, air). So, instead of creating heat from new resources, heat pumps recycle energy that is already present, making it possible to adopt a sober and circular approach.
The recovered heat is then reused for a variety of purposes: industrial and/or domestic hot water production, heating, drying processes, distillation and concentration, etc.
