We recently implemented three new custom tools developed in-house:
- The plant: Gutter distributor and installer
- Trenching wheel for rail/road excavators with HDPE/cable installer
- Cable-unspooling truck
Spotlight on Usine, our innovative channel installer
L’Usine is a 3-in-1 tool. It handles the distribution, excavation, and installation of concrete gutters along railroad tracks and allows for installation in tight spaces with limited access.
In 2019, we launched our first prototype, which was deployed on a 22-kilometer-long project site involving 22,000 drainage channels. Since then, four new versions have been deployed to handle more complex projects and adapt the tool to the environment. With this tool, we improve project performance for our client and enhance working conditions for our employees.
Production rate tripled with the Usine compared to traditional methods.
