Design, produce, integrate, support: an industrial response to the new strategic landscape
France’s strategic context has changed profoundly. The return of war to Europe’s doorstep, the proliferation of crises in the Middle East, the acceleration of operational needs, and pressure on supply chains are placing new demands on defense manufacturers: to be ready, immediately, with reliable, robust, and readily available solutions. At Ineo Défense, a division of Equans France, we are fully aware of this responsibility. Our mission is clear: to design, manufacture, and support technological solutions for the Armed Forces and major defense players.
What is expected of us today is not just to innovate, but to respond quickly, to deliver consistently over the long term, and to support ramp-up efforts—all without ever compromising on performance. True to this conviction, we design systems tailored closely to operational needs, taking a very practical approach: transforming often complex requirements into useful, reliable solutions delivered on time. This responsiveness is underpinned by a robust industrial infrastructure, recognized expertise, and in-depth knowledge of the field.
Nearly 60% of our technicians are stationed directly at our clients’ sites. This proximity to our dedicated staff is essential: it allows us to better understand constraints, identify on-site expectations, and anticipate needs for both technological and operational changes. Our French industrial roots are at the heart of this model. From engineering to In-Service Maintenance (ISM), we manage the entire value chain to offer solutions designed, manufactured, and integrated in France. With more than 25,000 m² of industrial capacity spread across sites in Morlaix, Vélizy, Nîmes, and Sophia-Antipolis, Ineo Défense, along with its subsidiary Exavision, has a robust and comprehensive production infrastructure. This is a decisive advantage for securing supplies, meeting deadlines, strengthening logistical resilience, and ensuring system availability. This ambition is part of a long-term strategy.
As a subsidiary of Equans France, backed by the Bouygues Group—a major French family-owned industrial conglomerate—Ineo Défense benefits from a solid foundation, sustainable investment capacity, and a clear vision of its role. In an increasingly unstable world, this continuity matters. It allows us to act consistently and invest in the expertise, industrial infrastructure, and solutions that the Armed Forces need today and tomorrow.
Now more than ever, I am convinced that technological sovereignty has value only if it translates into concrete capabilities for the armed forces. It is this commitment that drives our teams every day. To be of full service to the Armed Forces and to contribute, to the best of our ability, to the defense ambitions of France and its partners around the world, we will continue to increase our operational effectiveness by innovating and by remaining agile, swift, and rigorous in our execution.
