Your partner: Axima Nucléaire
Axima Nucléaire designs and manufactures customized refrigeration machines (chillers, air conditioners, direct expansion cabinets) for its customers in the nuclear sector, from one-offs to medium production runs.
Why?
- To meet qualification requirements and resistance to aggression (earthquake, explosion, irradiation, extreme temperatures, tornado, marine or corrosive environment...)
- To meet traceability requirements (conformity of supplies, manufacturing and modification tracking...)
- To adapt to the particular technical requirements of each customer (e.g.: specific specifications, absence of electronic equipment within the installation,...).
How?
Thanks to a dedicated in-house organization:
- An integrated design office
- A qualification department
Multi-site air conditioners
Supply and installation of a series of air conditioners for various applications on the French nuclear power plant in operation.
- Manufacture of 110 units
- Power of 5, 10 and 15 kW
- Seismic resistance to 10 G
- Installation in contaminated areas and diesel premises
- Operation from - 20 to + 50 °C
Emergency Control Station
Supply of two refrigeration units (channel A/B) as part of the design of the air conditioning package for the emergency control station (PCS3) at the Institut Laue Langevin (ILL) in Grenoble.
- Power: 45 kW chilled water
- Seismic resistance to 5 G
- Operation from - 20 to + 40 °C
Focus on the design and manufacture of special machines
On the occasion of WNE 2023, we went to meet our Axima Nucléaire experts.
Discover in video Lionel Verneyre, Directeur Opérationnel Axima Nucléaire and an integrated player across the entire value chain of special machines for the nuclear industry: design, qualification, manufacturing, monitoring, inspection, testing, installation, commissioning and MCO.
Our Axima Nucléaire expert informs us of the high requirements in terms of qualification, traceability and specific requirements, as well as the maintenance issue.
