Bain-de-Bretagne (35): Axima Enveloppe du Bâtiment shapes the future Henri Guérin school complex
Since June 2025, Axima Enveloppe du Bâtiment, a specialist in roofing and waterproofing, has been working on a major project in Bain-de-Bretagne (Ille-et-Vilaine): the construction of the new Henri Guérin school complex and the extension of the local leisure center.

This ambitious project, led by the commune, aims to provide children with a modern, spacious and inclusive learning environment.
At the start of the 2026 school year, the future facility will house 12 classrooms, including two outsourced teaching units to promote the inclusion of children with disabilities. The playgrounds will be transformed into oasis courtyards, planted areas designed for well-being, socialization and adaptation to climate change.
As part of this project, Axima Enveloppe du Bâtiment is carrying out roofing and waterproofing work on the entire building. The roof, with its singular architectural forms, is clad in 2,000 m² of zinc, offering durability, contemporary aesthetics and the flexibility to adapt to the building's curves.
In addition, 400 m² of bituminous waterproofing provides optimum protection against water infiltration.
This project is part of a demanding environmental approach: each material used is rigorously documented in order to measure its carbon footprint throughout its life cycle.
