Hugues Mener Manager, Local Works activities
Expertise in energy performance and building sustainability.
In Western France, the Axima Enveloppe du Bâtimentbranch stands out for its expertise in local work. Thanks to an experienced, multi-skilled team, it is able to take on roofing, waterproofing and cladding projects, for both new-build and renovation projects, with a strong capacity to adapt to local needs.
Is local work a matter of course?
Hugues Mener has been in charge of local works activities for the past seven years, and embodies the agency's move towards a more agile and territorial approach. A former roofer specializing in historic monuments, he worked on sites in Brittany, then in historic monument supervision in the Paris region, before joining Axima Enveloppe du Bâtiment.
Today, local work accounts for more than half the branch's business, with some fifty employees divided between maintenance and construction.
"When I arrived, the branch was focused on new waterproofing work. We have gradually transformed our model to meet the needs of maintenance and renovation in our three core businesses: roofing, waterproofing and cladding."
