Verso Energy and Equans France sign partnership to develop hydrogen projects for heavy-duty mobility
This Wednesday, June 14, on the occasion of the 10th edition of the Journées Hydrogène dans les Territoires held this year in Pau, Verso Energy and Equans France, through its Hydrogen Business Unit made up of the unification of the h2 teams of Bouygues Energies et Services and Axima, announced the signing of a partnership agreement to develop hydrogen infrastructure projects for heavy mobility.
This partnership is an extension of the collaboration initiated between the two companies for the Alp'Hyne and H2BYCOL projects, winners of the European Connecting Europe Facility call for projects last March. Drawing on their complementary experience and expertise, the two partners are now aiming to support a dozen or so joint projects. This support includes optimizing the design of the facilities and the electricity supply scheme, as well as securing financing, via new national and European subsidies in particular.

Recently winners of the European Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) call for projects for the deployment of hydrogen production and distribution units, Verso Energy and Equans France, through its Hydrogen Business Unit, have signed an agreement to replicate the success of their collaboration on the Alp'Hyne and H2BYCOL projects. The two projects, grouped together under the name ArcHypel, aim to create 3 stations for the production and distribution of renewable, low-carbon hydrogen along the corridors of the European TEN-T transport network. Located in Bonneville in the Arve Valley and in the Ile-de-France region in the Francilienne EPZ, the Alp'Hyne and H2BYCOL projects will respectively decarbonize industrial activity and mobility in Haute-Savoie, as well as the fleets of two major construction companies in the Ile-de-France region, Bouygues Construction and Colas.
