Equans France guarantees safety on Toulouse metro line C
The new Line C of the Toulouse metro promises to improve travel within the pink city, making mobility faster and more reliable. Its construction is managed by Tisséo, the public transport operator, via its subsidiary Tisséo Ingénierie. The project relies on collaboration with its long-standing partners: Axima agency TVS* and the regional teams of Ineo, entities of Equans France, in a consortium with Eiffage. Commissioning is scheduled for late 2028.

Tisséo Ingénierie has placed its trust in us since 2002, with the extension and improved safety of line A and the creation of line B.
This relationship of trust continues with the construction of line C.
This time, in a consortium with Eiffage, they will be carrying out the design and electromechanical ventilation work with Axima Tunnel, as well as the high-current electrical installations in stations with Ineo.
To ensure the safety of the workers digging the Line C tunnel, a smoke test (simulating the start of a fire) was carried out.
It involved 80 firefighters, a psychological unit, the ambulance service, the prefecture service and several extras, who had to take refuge in the survival cabin until help arrived.

This training allowed us to test the safety of people, to test the coordination between the various participants and to reproduce reality as closely as possible to improve the experience in the field.
For Tisséo Ingénierie, it is a key step in guaranteeing the protection and evacuation of personnel, while for Axima's teams, it is an opportunity to put their solutions to the test.
