Equans France: player in the Villejuif - Gustave Roussy station project, named "most beautiful station in the world
On December 19, 2024, our teams were present, alongside Bouygues Bâtiments Ile-de-France équipements publics, at the handover of the keys to the Villejuif - Gustave Roussy station to the Société des grands projets.
Today, the station, which has been serving passengers on line 14 for almost a year, was awarded the Prix Versailles 2025 in the "stations and stations" category, which recognizes recent architectural achievements in eight fields. This prize, supported byUNESCO, gives it the title of "the most beautiful station in the world".
Built at a depth of 50 meters over 9 levels, this station is designed as a true connector for the Paris region transport network.
Located at the intersection of lines 14 and 15 Sud, it serves, among others, the ZAC Campus Grand Parc and the Institut Gustave-Roussy.
To guarantee energy efficiency as well as the comfort and safety of the 100,000 daily passengers, our Axima teams carried out the HVAC, plumbing and sprinkler systems.
Ineo, for its part, installed the high and low voltage electrical systems, platform facades, radio network equipment and Fire Safety Systems (SSI).
