From innovation to industrialization: Mecaware accelerates project implementation with Ingenica
Innovative technology for sustainable recycling
The Mecaware start-up extracts strategic metals (lithium, nickel, cobalt, manganese) from end-of-life lithium-ion battery waste using CO2, and re-injects them into the manufacturing chain. This model promotes a more sustainable industrial approach, based on the principles of circularity and reduction of the environmental footprint without acids or effluents.
With Ingenica's expertise, the start-up is taking a decisive step towards industrialization in the heart of the Hauts-de-France region.
Mecaware accelerates industrialization of its project with INGENICA
Following the completion of its R&D work, the technical validation of its pilots and the filing of several patents, Mecaware has entered a new phase in its industrial development.
To ensure the success of this strategic step, the company approached Ingenica, to benefit from its expertise in pragmatic, scalable engineering, as well as long-term support throughout the project.
In particular, this collaboration enabled us to carry out the process sizing study, equipment specification, estimation of the various scenarios, preliminary analysis of industrial risks, as well as a study of constructability and general installation in 3D.
A semi-industrial pilot to accelerate deployment
The company sets up a semi-industrial pilot plant in Béthune.
The aim is to prove the operational and financial viability of the process. Ingenica's experts are actively involved in this project, providing design engineering and project management for all trades.
Ingenica stands out for its expertise, collaborative approach and comprehensive support for Mecaware. This collaboration accelerates the industrialization of the project.
