Magnetic-bearing chiller
This is a chilled water production unit with a low environmental impact used to cool systems on board ships. Assembled in France at our facilities, this solution is based on turbo compressor technology. Installation is simplified (very low noise level, minimal vibrations, oil-free operation, etc.), and operation is made easier (advanced control technology, simplified maintenance, etc.).
Finally, this solution is also more energy-efficient (50% energy savings—the projected savings depend on the climate and operating time assumptions used to perform this calculation —and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 630 tCO2 eq/year, equivalent to the energy consumption of 60 households) and is more environmentally friendly since it uses green refrigerants (R513a/R1234-ze). In the race to reduce energy costs among shipowners, the installation and operation of this type of equipment are essential!
