Equans France respects your right to privacy: it is important that you have control over your personal data. You have the following rights:

• The right to be informed: You have the right to receive clear, transparent, understandable, and easily accessible information about how we use your personal data and about your rights. That is why we provide you with the information in this Policy.
• The right of access: You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you (subject to certain restrictions). We may charge a reasonable fee based on the administrative costs incurred in providing the information. Requests that are manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive may not be answered. To exercise your right of access, please contact us using the contact information below.
• Right to Rectification: You may request that we rectify or supplement your personal data, as appropriate, if it is inaccurate, incomplete, ambiguous, or outdated. To exercise your right to rectification, please contact us using the contact information below.

• The right to erasure/right to be forgotten: You may request that we erase your personal data when one of the following grounds applies:

  • The personal data is no longer necessary in light of the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed;

  • You withdraw the consent you previously provided;

  • You object to the processing of your personal data when there is no compelling legitimate ground for the processing;

  • The processing of personal data does not comply with the provisions of applicable laws and regulations.

  Please note that the right to erasure is not a general right, and it can only be granted if one of the grounds provided for in the applicable regulations applies. Thus, if none of these grounds apply, Equans France will not be able to grant your request; this will be the case if it is required to retain the data due to a legal or regulatory obligation or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

• The right to object to commercial marketing: You may unsubscribe or object to receiving our commercial marketing messages at any time. Simply click on the “unsubscribe” link in any email or communication we send you. You may also contact us using the contact information below.

• The right to object to data processing based on legitimate interest: You may object to the processing of your data at any time when the processing is based on legitimate interest. We invite you to consult the table included in the section “On what legal basis and for how long is your personal data processed?”, and in particular the “Legal Basis” column, to determine whether our processing is based on legitimate interests. If you wish to exercise your right to object, please contact us using the contact information below.

• The right to withdraw consent at any time for data processing based on consent: You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your data if such processing is based on consent. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent that took place prior to its withdrawal. We invite you to consult the table included in the section “On what legal basis and for how long is your personal data processed?”, and in particular the “Legal Basis” column, to determine whether our processing is based on consent. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please contact us using the contact information below.

• The right to restriction of processing: You may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in the cases provided for by law and regulations. This right means that our processing of your personal data is restricted, so that we may retain this data but may not use or process it.
  This right applies in specific circumstances provided for by the General Data Protection Regulation, namely:

  • The accuracy of the personal data is contested by the data subject (i.e., you), for a period enabling the data controller to verify the accuracy of the personal data;

  • The processing is unlawful, and the data subject (i.e., you) objects to the erasure of the data and instead requests that its use be restricted;

  • The data controller (i.e., Equans France) no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but the data is still necessary for the data subject to establish, exercise, or defense of legal claims;

  • The data subject (i.e., you) has objected to processing based on the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller while it is being determined whether the legitimate interests pursued by the data controller override those of the data subject.

  If you wish to request restriction of processing, please contact us using the contact information below.

• The right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority: If, after contacting us, you believe that your data rights are not being respected, you have the right to file a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (“CNIL”), at 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
