Support for the Tertiary Eco-Energy Scheme
The Tertiary Eco-Energy Scheme is a regulatory obligation that commits tertiary sector actors to the transition to energy efficiency. It is the result of the Tertiary Decree and is part of the ELAN law in order to determine the fields of application and the actions to be implemented in order to achieve the energy reduction objectives it defines. This device sets ambitious objectives and a global approach to achieve the obligations of reducing energy consumption.
Who is concerned?
- You are an owner, lessor, occupant (or tenant)an establishment housing tertiary activities in the private or public sector.
- Your buildings have a surface equal or superior to 1000 m².whether it is exclusively allocated to a tertiary use, parts of a mixed-use building hosting tertiary activities and whose cumulative surface area is equal to or greater than 1000 m², or any group of buildings located on the same site whose cumulative surface area hosting tertiary activities is greater than or equal to 1000 m².

EQUANS supports you at every stage
Whether you are a homeowner or a tenant, EQUANS can help you at every stage to identify, implement, finance and monitor the performance actions that best suit your property environment.
- EQUANS' consulting offer to support you in energy efficiency
- Local support and assistance for data collection
- Regulatory audit
- Support for ISO 50 0001
- Carbon footprint
- Raising awareness of energy consumption among occupants
- Static Thermal Simulation + metering plan or Dynamic
The approach proposed by EQUANS is based on four steps
-
First step
A strategic step that consists of collecting data (characterization of the subject, the site, the tertiary surfaces in terms of activity, intensity, building characteristics, etc.). This stage also allows us to define the objective (the reference year or absolute value) on which the master plan for energy performance actions in the coming years will be based: in this stage, EQUANS will assist you in collecting the useful data and analyzing it specifically for your context.
-
Second step
This step is the energy study allowing to define the reference year but also the evaluation of the consumption in absolute value of the site. A regulatory deadline of September 31, 2022 to publish the data on the OPERAT platform: EQUANS can be designated as agent.
-
Third step
EQUANS relies on its recognized expertise in HVAC and electrical engineering (consulting, audit, engineering/design, works, maintenance and multi-technical operation) to build the action plan around four levers (building energy performance, installation of efficient equipment or equipment management systems, equipment operating methods, adaptation of the use of premises and occupant behavior).
-
Fourth step
Implementation of performance actions and monitoring of the progress of consumption reductions: EQUANS carries out the work, maintenance and operation of the systems (HVAC, lighting, BMS, etc.) and implements the Energy Management solution adapted to your needs (tool and/or services). We also offer support in financing mechanisms.
EQUANS is committed to your energy performance
With Energy Performance Contracts (EPC), EQUANS commits to energy results and service levels for all building uses. Within the framework of the Eco-Energie Tertiaire scheme, the EPCs guarantee that you will achieve the energy consumption reduction targets set by integrating design studies and audits, financing, implementation and operation/maintenance and other services contributing to good results.
