Reinjecting the heat produced to heat a swimming pool
Refrigeration for an ice rink construction or modernisation is a significant investment. Energy bills are soaring and authorities have no choice but to rethink their cooling and heating systems. With the Axima Réfrigération France offer, 100% of the heat produced can be reinjected to heat a swimming pool, a snow pit or other infrastructures, drastically reducing the energy bill.

The project’s objectives were to reduce the maintenance costs of the existing installation, optimise energy expenditure and lastly avoid faults and total breakdown of the rink. Feedback suggests that we are going to achieve these objectives, particularly in terms of water consumption, because we are approaching zero consumption, which was the initial objective.
