Our response

EQUANS France, through its "Defence and National Security" activity, is a privileged partner of major state contractors and industrial prime contractors. We design, manufacture and maintain all types of mobile or fixed Radio-Frequency radomes and composite solutions, of all sizes and for all purposes. Our team draws on decades of expertise to offer armed forces customised, electromagnetically transparent and robust end-to-end solutions that protect them from threats.

  • meteorological radars air traffic surveillance radars observation radars;
  • self-protection and electronic warfare systems;
  • satellite communication systems intelligence systems;
  • transmitter-receiver antennas;
  • scrolling satellite tracking antennas;

PERFORMANCES

We design radomes adapted to your needs:

  • GEOMETRIC: size (from 5cm to 15m diameter), weight, size, discretion,
  • MECHANICAL: high speeds, environmental and aerodynamic considerations (bird impact, shocks, sand ...), ballistic resistance ;
  • TECHNICAL: range, sensitivity, electromagnetic functionality for all broadband frequencies (0 to 60 GHz) of the antenna or sensor to be protected; Composite materials;

Our radomes are made from materials of French or European origin. They are therefore not subject to the American ITAR regulations.

An array of technologies and complementary expertise

All our radome solutions are designed and developed in our workshops in Morlaix (29 - Finistère). Developing a protective structure, sufficiently resistant and transparent for successful transmissions, is a permanent challenge for the teams of the "Defence and National Security" activity!

From product design to assembly (pre-impregnated, high-performance, injection, contact moulding, structural bonding), together with signal processing, radio-frequency permeability and radiation pattern enhancement: more than 55 employees, all with highly diverse expertise, are involved in building your radome!

Météo-France has trusted Ineo Defense activity for 10 years now for the supply and installation of its C and S band radomes. 10 years now for the supply and installation of its C and S band radomes. This partnership, rich in professional exchanges, has resulted in the installation of about fifteen high quality radomes that give complete satisfaction for the protection of its weather radars.
