Industrial robotics case study: box opening

    • Challenges
Not all production lines run simultaneously. However, their rates are increasingly high and production needs to be increasingly flexible. Line conductors are versatile and their adjustment times are increasingly short. The customer wishes to free up time for its operators by automating strenuous tasks with little added value.
    • Constraints
      • Limited space
      • Cyclic operation of lines
      • Regular change of format
      • Variable weight
      • Sustained production rate.
    • Solutions
      • Modelling of possible layouts,
      • Interfacing with machines upstream
      • Palet’ease moves easily from line to line
      • Multiple palletisation plans with palletisation software
    • Benefits
      • Optimisation of operator time
      • Elimination of strenuous work
      • Increased productivity
