Since its founding in 1990, EXAVISION has developed expertise in optronic solutions designed for challenging environments. Its equipment and systems, which combine optics and electronics, are used by the Navy, aboard armored vehicles of the ground forces, as well as inside EPR reactors and in industrial production lines. For Ineo Defense, a division of EQUANS France, this acquisition is part of a growth strategy focused on securing environments, protecting sites, and monitoring areas.

Expanding the range of solutions for securing environments

The market for area surveillance and site protection strongly combines frequency-related aspects (radar detection, communication, jamming)—areas in which Ineo Defense has expertise—with optronic detection and verification capabilities. Observation, surveillance, detection, reconnaissance, identification, and neutralization—EXAVISION’s solutions address these specific market constraints and requirements. With the acquisition of this company, which has revenue of 6 million euros, Ineo Defense continues to expand its capabilities in securing environments, building on EXAVISION’s reputation and offering a comprehensive, cohesive portfolio as a systems integrator and equipment manufacturer.
