Currently under construction at the SOCARENAM shipyard in Boulogne-sur-Mer, this 70-meter patrol vessel—scheduled to enter service in 2022—will be primarily used to monitor the European Union’s external borders.

Following a European call for bids, SOCARENAM (based in Boulogne-sur-Mer) was awarded the contract to build a new vessel for the Polish Coast Guard. Based in Gdańsk, this vessel will be able to accommodate a crew of 35 for a month with full self-sufficiency and will operate in all European waters, from the icy waters of the Baltic Sea to the warm waters of the Mediterranean.
