Italvolt Signs an Exclusive Partnership with EQUANS

A Partnership to Build a 45 GWh Gigafactory in Italy

As the new global leader in multi-technical services, EQUANS will provide Itavolt with support in designing the key industrial processes specific to the production of batteries for electric vehicles at the future 45 GWh gigafactory. The total investment in this plant amounts to approximately 3.4 billion euros. It will be located in Scarmagno in northern Italy, at the crossroads of the East-West and North-South Mediterranean corridors: a strategic location for the European automotive industry that will enable it to attract the highly skilled workforce required.
