Bain-de-Bretagne (35): Axima Enveloppe du Bâtiment is shaping the future Henri Guérin school complex
Since June 2025, Axima Enveloppe du Bâtiment, a specialist in roofing and waterproofing, is working on a major project in Bain-de-Bretagne (Ille-et-Vilaine): the construction of the new Henri Guérin school complex and the expansion of the municipal recreation center.

This ambitious project, led by the municipality, aims to provide children with a modern, spacious, and inclusive learning environment.
When the 2026 school year begins, the future school will have 12 classrooms, including two off-site teaching units designed to promote the inclusion of children with disabilities. The playgrounds will be transformed into “oasis courtyards”—green spaces designed to promote well-being, socialization, and adaptation to climate change.
As part of this project, Axima Enveloppe du Bâtiment is carrying out the roofing and waterproofing work on the entire building. The roof, with its unique architectural forms, is clad in 2,000 m² of zinc roofing, offering durability, a contemporary aesthetic, and the flexibility to follow the building’s curves.
In addition, a 400 m² bituminous waterproofing membrane ensures optimal protection against water infiltration.
This project is part of a rigorous environmental initiative: every material used is thoroughly documented to measure its carbon footprint throughout its life cycle.
