This involves reducing energy and water consumption to become more energy-efficient. It is based on the principle of “econology,” which enables the necessary optimizations to operate in a more environmentally friendly manner.
Responsible Mobility
This involves encouraging employees to make more thoughtful travel choices by promoting carpooling and the most fuel-efficient modes of transportation possible. Working from home also reduces the environmental impact by 30 percent.
Waste Reduction
This involves establishing rules that make it easier to sort waste, reduce consumption, and reuse or recycle materials.
Digital Sobriety
This means choosing a Wi-Fi network over a 4G network and keeping electronic and computer equipment for longer.
Reducing the Impact of Refrigerants
This means offering customers innovative solutions using low-carbon refrigerants. Equans France aims to reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions from refrigerants by a factor of 5 by 2030.
