GRAND PARIS EXPRESS:
LAUNCH OF THE LINE 15 M2 WEST PROJECT
Metro Line 15 M2 West: A New Era of Mobility for Greater Paris
The project for Line 15 West of the Grand Paris Express has reached a major milestone with the award of the design-build contract to a consortium led by NGE, in collaboration with Webuild and Equans France. This section, connecting Courbevoie to Saint-Denis-Pleyel, is crucial for completing and finalizing Metro Line 15, and for its entry into service by 2031. This segment will facilitate the daily commutes of more than 240,000 passengers, significantly reducing travel times—such as the trip between La Défense and Saint-Denis-Pleyel, which will be cut from 46 to 19 minutes.
This project, which draws on the experience gained on Lines 16 and 17, bodes well for the environmental transition that Equans is proud to support.
