Magnetic-Bearing Chiller - MARINUM - This is a low-environmental-impact chilled water production unit used to cool systems on board ships. Assembled in our facilities, this solution is based on turbocompressor technology. Installation is simplified (very low noise level, minimal vibrations, oil-free operation, etc.) and operation is made easier (advanced control technology, simplified maintenance, etc.). Finally, this solution is also more energy-efficient (50% energy savings—the projected savings depend on the climate and operating time assumptions used in this calculation —and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 630 tCO₂ eq/year, equivalent to the energy consumption of 60 households) and is more environmentally friendly since it uses green refrigerants (R513a/R1234-ze).
