Equans France secures Cité Marine factory extension in Plumelin with innovative fire protection system
Equans France, via Axima Sécurité Incendie, is supporting Cité Marine, French leader in seafood and vegetarian dishes, in the modernization of its Plumelin (56) site. Since 2024, this large-scale project has included fire protection for the new production and storage area, retrofitting of existing systems, and the installation of a differentiated sprinkler solution for the cold room, guaranteeing optimal business continuity.
Cité Marine factory extension: Equans at the heart of fire protection
Since acquiring the Plumelin site in 2022, Cité Marine has been planning a major transformation that will culminate in a larger, more automated plant in 2027, employing over 2,000 people across 10 sites.
Equans France, via Axima Sécurité Incendie, is providing fire safety services for the extension, covering traditional sprinkler installation and upgrading of fire water sources.
