The challenges

  • Participate in the construction of a new power plant in the United Kingdom representing 7% of electricity demand: 2 EPRs with a capacity of 1638 MW each - Covering 7% of electricity demand in the United Kingdom.

  • Ventilation and air conditioning of the nuclear island (contaminable and non-contaminable premises), pumping station and effluent treatment building of the nuclear power plant;
  • Detail studies: updating 3D models with the HVAC Axima catalog, aeraulic calculations & fan selection, seismic calculations and updating supports in PDMS models;
  • Procurement of ventilation equipment;
  • Qualification to accident conditions of safety-related equipment (fire, seismic, irradiation, aging tests, ...).
