Greenfield Project: Sartorius Biopharmaceutical Production Facility
La centrale nucléaire d’EDF à Fessenheim, située dans le Haut-Rhin, accueille les deux plus anciens REP du parc français.
This project, known as P15 in Aubagne, was a key project in the growth of biopharmaceutical production. Axima (a brand of Equans) was commissioned to carry out this project at an occupied industrial site, including all-trade construction work (TCE), under a design-build contract.
The goal was to increase production capacity while ensuring regulatory compliance and a smooth transition for ongoing operations. The project lasted 18 months with phased deliveries, including the commissioning of cleanrooms for critical biopharmaceutical processes.
Sartorius faced several major challenges: expansion and regulatory compliance.
Axima has implemented a series of technical and organizational solutions to meet the requirements of this construction project for the first building on the Sartorius Campus.
