Smart Territory Angers Loire Métropole: Inauguration of the Forum for Innovative and Sustainable Territories
On Thursday, July 16, 2026, Angers Loire Métropole and Ineo inaugurated the
Forum for Innovative and Sustainable Territories (TID), a unique space dedicated
to residents, professionals, and students to understand
and experience the digital and energy transformation of the
Angers region. This event marks a new milestone in a partnership
that began in 2020 to modernize street lighting, buildings,
green spaces, waste management, and parking, for
the benefit of the entire metropolitan area and its users.
From March 2020 through March 2032, the consortium comprising Ineo
and its partners Suez, the VyV Group, and La Poste is supporting
Angers Loire Métropole in carrying out one of the most extensive
digital and energy transformation programs undertaken
to date by a French local government. Street lighting,
traffic lights, green spaces, buildings, waste management, parking,
safety and prevention, water: eight major areas are covered,
managed from a single Hypervision center, designed and deployed by Ineo
and its partners. The opening of the Forum, located within the
Métamorphose building in the heart of Angers, now gives this transformation a
tangible and accessible face.
