When innovation gives a boost to transportation performance!
Ineo Systrans, a subsidiary of Equans France and a national leader specializing in the design and development of Intelligent Transportation Systems and Services, has announced the launch of its new roadmap, dubbed “Road to Innovation,” featuring a completely redesigned SAEIV. This ambitious project aims to offer increasingly high-performance solutions tailored to the current and future challenges of public transportation (buses, trams, trains), while placing innovation at the heart of its priorities.
A new 2.0 interface for more efficient management
Although digital technologies play a key role in the energy transition of the transportation sector, their deployment presents numerous challenges, particularly for the operation of public transit systems.
The adoption of smart solutions, such as the NAVINEO Operations Support and Passenger Information System (SAEIV), requires tools tailored to real-world conditions.
That is why the new NAVINEO SAEIV interface was designed to be intuitive, user-friendly, and easy to learn, in order to effectively support operators in their daily tasks.
Thanks to optimized navigation, the new SAEIV offers a seamless and intuitive experience, allowing operators to quickly access essential information and perform their tasks with a minimum of steps.
For example, the number of clicks required to access key information has been reduced, allowing users to navigate the system more quickly and efficiently. These improvements enhance the fluidity of the experience and facilitate real-time decision-making.
Features optimized for operators
The SAIEV NAVINEO has been enhanced with new advanced features. Its optimized system can now support up to 10,000 vehicles, while incorporating features such as voice guidance, agent recovery management, and track discrimination based on switch signatures.
To support this expansion, new intuitive dashboards have been developed. They allow operators to easily view specific data on network operations, including punctuality, service regularity, and passenger ridership. NAVINEO now offers features to improve the operation of electric buses, including vehicle range estimation, integration with depot and on-the-go charging management, and energy consumption tracking.
Finally, “augmented multimodal” solutions have been developed to improve rail operations and provide a better experience for passengers.
These solutions focus in particular on automated train routing, rail traffic supervision, and the optimization of passenger information systems and onboard equipment.
NAVINEO Lab: Innovation at the Heart of Mobility
Ineo Systrans is also launching NAVINEO Lab, which brings together all of its innovative projects within transportation networks through Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to test new technologies. This internal initiative enables the integration of cutting-edge technologies into Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) solutions to continually push the boundaries of mobility and address current and future challenges facing public transportation networks.
