Régis Greiner Takes the Helm at Axima Réfrigération France, a Leader in the Refrigeration Industry
Specializing in the design, assembly, and installation of refrigeration units for over 150 years, Axima Réfrigération France (ARF), a subsidiary of Equans, now has a new CEO. A graduate of the École nationale supérieure d’Arts et Métiers, with 25 years of experience in the industry, Régis Greiner will lead a company undergoing significant transformation with two key objectives: to strengthen ARF’s leadership in refrigeration and to establish its broader expertise as an energy solutions provider through the diversification of its offerings and innovative solutions.
After spending his first two years in the aerospace industry, Régis Greiner joined Quiri Réfrigération in 1997, which has since become Axima Réfrigération France. Appointed director of ARF’s industrial, construction, and services division in 2005, then deputy CEO in 2011, he left the company in 2017 to take the helm at MCI, another Equans France entity specializing in refrigeration and air conditioning. Now at the helm of ARF, Régis Greiner aims to draw on his years of experience to guide, support, and accelerate the growth and profitability of this company, which today employs 2,200 people across more than 80 branches.
As a major source of energy consumption in the industrial and service sectors, refrigeration today faces the challenge of improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions. Axima Réfrigération France’s expertise covers the entire project lifecycle, from the design and installation phases through to equipment operation and maintenance, with the aim of improving performance and generating substantial savings.
“Innovations in solar and plasma cooling, next-generation heat pumps capable of reaching temperatures up to 120°, low-carbon refrigerants, and enhanced predictive maintenance: Axima Réfrigération France aims to reflect and spearhead a rapidly changing society committed to the triple transition—energy, industrial, and digital! ARF’s transformation from a refrigeration specialist to an energy solutions provider is a prime example of this. “The climate challenge requires us to rethink the entire process of cooling by identifying sources of energy that can be recovered,” explains Régis Greiner, CEO of Axima Réfrigération, a division of Equans France.
