Axima has chosen the Kalifornia building, developed by Bouygues Immobilier, to house part of its teams
A consistent choice within the same group, promoting more sustainable and high-performance buildings.
Last December, Axima, an Equans France subsidiary specializing in HVAC engineering, signed a lease for more than 3,000 m² of office space to relocate its teams already based in the town of Malakoff.

Axima’s teams—comprising approximately 200 employees—will now be based at this location, which offers a work environment better aligned with Equans France’s goals and ambitions to accelerate its clients’ triple transition—energy, industrial, and digital—in the Île-de-France region.
Following the lease agreements with Bayard, In Extenso Ile-de-France, and Compass Group France, this new signing brings the overall occupancy rate of the Kalifornia building to over 85%.
Kalifornia is a 23,400 m² office building, 4,500 m² of which is dedicated to accessible outdoor spaces: 2,500 m² of private green terraces and a 2,000 m² shared garden. In total, 53 trees and 77 different plant species have been planted there.
Designed to ensure a pleasant and productive work environment for employees, the offices are flexible and bathed in natural light. The tenant services area, overlooking the gardens, offers several dining options, a welcome coffee bar, and large, professionally managed shared meeting rooms.

Kalifornia was designed according to the criteria of the innovative and socially responsible “Bureau Généreux” initiative led by Bouygues Immobilier, which offers workspaces that benefit businesses, their employees, and the neighborhood.
Its design reflects strong environmental ambitions: the use of geosourced materials as well as materials from the circular economy; the integration of photovoltaic panels to power a parking lot equipped with electric charging stations; and the installation of ORAÉ® glass from @Saint-Gobain Glass France, a glass with a lower carbon footprint whose components are derived from recycled glass.
These design choices fully reflect the expertise of the teams at Axima, a division of Equans France, who are committed on a daily basis to designing and operating solutions that contribute to the decarbonization of buildings and their uses.
The choice of Kalifornia also reflects a natural affinity between the Equans Group and Bouygues Immobilier, two subsidiaries of the Bouygues Group that share the same culture of engineering, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
