A Contract to Develop Sustainable Rural Electrification and Street Lighting in Normandy
Historic Partnership Between Ineo, Bouygues Energies & Services, and SDEM50 for the Energy Transition in the Manche Department
For more than ten years, the Ineo consortium (lead contractor) and Bouygues Energies & Services, a subsidiary of Equans France, have been supporting the Manche Departmental Energy Syndicate (SDEM50) in its rural electrification and street lighting projects. This relationship of trust was renewed in 2026 for three years and continues today with a contract that meets the region’s energy and territorial goals.
A commitment to deploying sustainable, safer, and more environmentally integrated power grids
This project demonstrates our commitment to training and environmental responsibility, as evidenced by the hiring of five work-study students and the systematic calculation of the environmental impact for each construction site.
Our teams, which specialize in outdoor infrastructure, work daily in the region to ensure that residents have:
- A safe and peaceful environment with street lighting tailored to their needs.
- An improved quality of life through the electrical connection of new homes and the underground installation of utility lines, which enhances both rural and urban landscapes.
- Increased reliability of underground and overhead utility networks.
A project that brings together the expertise of the Ineo teams from the Basse-Normandie Networks branch and Bouygues Energies & Services from the Valognes branch, to build communities that meet the challenges of the energy transition and where the well-being and safety of citizens are the priority.
