What is your career background, and how did you end up at Equans France?
“I joined Equans France as an engineering apprentice in 2012, where I had the opportunity to spend a lot of time on construction sites and in the engineering department.
After graduating, I was hired on a permanent contract as an assistant project manager. Today, I am a project manager at the Ineo Normandie office.”
What is your job, and what are your responsibilities?
“My role is to supervise construction sites, ensure that we meet the client’s needs, that the site complies with safety standards, and that we honor our commitments.
Currently, we’re working for an industrial client where our tasks are varied, ranging from installing high-voltage equipment to wiring PLCs. It’s a very varied job where no two days are alike. ”
What do you like most about your job?
“I like to understand projects as a whole and think through ways to find solutions tailored to our clients’ needs. What I enjoy most is managing a project from start to finish and seeing the final result!”
Are you very proud?
“I especially enjoyed pursuing my studies through a work-study program. I think it’s the best way to put what you learn into practice. That’s why I decided to become a mentor myself. For the next three years, I’ll be helping Aymeric grow professionally and passing on my knowledge to him.”
What would you say to young women who are hesitant to take the plunge?
“I’ll tell them not to hesitate. To choose a career they love—including technical fields—and to persevere. We all bring different and complementary skills to the table.”
