Equans France, a key player in Südpack Medica’s industrial transition
Since September 2024, our teams have been supporting the pharmaceutical industry’s specialist in high-performance sterile packaging at its long-standing facility in Gacé (61).
This expansion project, scheduled for late 2025, aims to increase the site’s production capacity while ensuring energy efficiency as well as the comfort and safety of the 120 employees through:
✅ The creation of a 1,800 m² cleanroom for the manufacture of technical plastic bags. This project was carried out using the “clean concept” approach, encompassing everything from the installation of partitions and ceilings to the technical systems;
✅ Construction of a 1,600 m² commercial building adjacent to the cleanroom, compliant with RE2020 standards, which will house offices and feature a 110 kW photovoltaic shade structure on the roof capable of supplying the building with energy;
✅ the installation of 4 electric vehicle charging stations.
The Bouygues Energies & Services teams, which specialize in Critical Controlled Environments, install air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems as well as plumbing, while the teams with expertise in local electrical systems handle high- and low-voltage systems. Fire safety is provided by Axima Sécurité Incendie through the installation of a sprinkler system and a fire hose reel.
To facilitate the acceptance of the various phases and ensure the quality of the installations, this project—carried out using BIM—utilizes augmented reality to visualize the utility networks and perform self-checks.
Lean methods, such as digitizing schedules for organizational purposes, enable effective coordination of the project among the various stakeholders.
