As part of the “Our Low-Carbon Lives” program, Marc DELAHAYE, Administrative and Financial Manager at the Lille branch of Axima Sécurité Incendie, proposed installing UV window film to reduce heat gain through the building’s windows.

The branch manager approved the idea and decided to install the film on the entire glass facade most exposed to the sun.

After using them for a few months last summer, everyone agrees that this allows them to delay turning on the air conditioning by about half a day.

Mission accomplished! Perhaps this will give other agencies some ideas as summer approaches in the coming months.
