Mounir Boukil Elected to the GIFEN Board of Directors: Equans’ Commitment to Supporting the French Nuclear Industry
Equans France is proud to announce the election of Mounir Boukil, CEO of Ineo Nucléaire, to the Board of Directors of the Association of French Nuclear Energy Industries (GIFEN).
The GIFEN Board of Directors is composed of 12 members elected by the 500 companies in the sector, as well as representatives from major French nuclear contractors such as EDF, CEA, Orano, Andra, and Framatome.
This appointment reflects the industry’s confidence in our company and, consequently, our group’s responsibility in this regard.
As the representative of Equans’ nuclear activities—which include Ineo Nucléaire, Axima Nucléaire, Mecanuc, and ECIA— Mounir Boukil will bring his expertise and vision to GIFEN’s strategic projects. His role will be to actively contribute to the collective effort needed to address the industrial, technological, and human challenges facing the sector.
“ It is with humility but great determination that I join the GIFEN Board of Directors. I am convinced that it is through collective effort—based on trust, innovation, and operational excellence—that we will be able to build a sustainable future for the French nuclear industry. ”
Equans fully shares this ambition and reaffirms its support for GIFEN in its unifying mission.
Through its long-standing subsidiaries, Equans has been committed for over fifty years to developing safe and high-performance nuclear infrastructure, thereby contributing to the energy transition and the decarbonization of the energy mix.
This election marks an important milestone in Equans’ commitment to supporting the nuclear industry through its transformations. Together, we will continue to innovate, recruit, and train.
