At the Heart of Our Heritage with Equans France
Preservation of the Nantes Stock Exchange Palace
The teams at Axima Sécurité Incendie are helping to preserve the historic Nantes Stock Exchange Building (44), built in the late 18th century and designated a historic monument since January 24, 1947. With the installation of the first sprinkler fire protection system in 1996, the ongoing maintenance of the systems since that same year, and the renovation of the fire protection system in 2025, our teams are contributing to the preservation of this monument of French architectural heritage.
Transforming the industry with gigafactories
Teams from Equans France are helping to build the AESC gigafactory in Douai (59), a large-scale industrial site dedicated to the production of batteries for electric vehicles, located in the heart of the Battery Valley. Recognized for their technical expertise, our teams are involved in the design and implementation of technical systems (HVAC, electrical, fire safety, building automation, chemical management, and gray and clean utilities, etc.), as well as the design of cleanrooms, meeting the strictest requirements for air quality and energy efficiency.
Energy-Efficiency Renovation in Beaune
The teams at Equans France are assisting the City of Beaune (21) with the energy-efficient renovation of its street lighting, heritage lighting, video projections at seven iconic sites in the city, traffic signal lighting, Christmas illuminations, sports field lighting, and video surveillance systems. Through a comprehensive performance-based contract, this 10-year project will reduce energy consumption by an average of 43 percent. An ambitious initiative that showcases the city’s heritage while addressing the challenges of the energy transition. SECURITY
Eiffel Tower Electrical System Modernization
Since 2017, teams from Ineo, a division of Equans France, have been renovating the electrical infrastructure of the Eiffel Tower.
High- and low-voltage work across three levels.
Objective: to improve the experience for the 20,000 daily visitors, while sustainably enhancing this symbol of French culture.
"Inspiration" Exhibition Train (GB)
Since June 26, the “Inspiration” train has been traveling across Great Britain to celebrate the country’s railway heritage and its future.
Designed as a traveling exhibition, it will stop at more than 60 stations and railway sites between now and next June, welcoming more than 200,000 visitors.
The teams at DG8, the design studio of Icomera (a division of Equans France), conceived and fitted out the Mark 3 railcars, transforming them into immersive spaces dedicated to the history and innovation of British rail.
Security at the Guiana Space Center
At the Guiana Space Center, Ineo E&S, a division of Equans France & Cynogarde ensures the security of a unique facility.
Maintenance of security systems, physical surveillance, access control: a state-of-the-art technological and human resources system, supporting space operations.
Our goal: to guarantee the site’s availability to ensure the smooth flow of launches in a highly secure environment.
