Inter-Company Restaurant in the Landes: Equans Makes Life Easier for Patrons at Every Moment of the Day
In the heart of the Seignanx Community of Communes (40), our Axima teams—a division of Equans France—delivered, last spring, an Inter-Company Restaurant (RIE) designed to accommodate more than 2,000 users: employees from nearby businesses, visitors, and residents of the surrounding communities.
This multifunctional facility creates, for residents, a shared living space and helps reduce trips to urban centers for meals. This RIE features a dining hall covering more than 700 m², a kitchen area, a self-service counter, a snack bar, and a fast-food restaurant.
For this project, our teams implemented technical solutions designed to benefit residents:
Year-round thermal comfort thanks to 700 m² of underfloor heating and cooling. A pleasant temperature in every season, without drafts or noise.
120 m² of rooftop solar collectors to produce hot water in an autonomous, economical, and eco-friendly manner.
Two 180-kW heat pumps to ensure optimal comfort while reducing the building’s carbon footprint.
This project demonstrates Equans France’s ability to design versatile, comfortable, and energy-efficient buildings that serve local communities and citizens.
