Equans France provides comprehensive fire protection for Orsini
At Equans France, the Axima Fire Safety teams in Orléans supported the furniture manufacturer Orsini from the very beginning of its reconstruction. Following an arson fire in 2023 that destroyed its facility and forced about 40 employees into temporary layoffs, this family-owned business rebuilt a new factory in Ouarville, in the Eure-et-Loir department. Our teams worked tirelessly to ensure a rapid and safe resumption of operations, thanks to a comprehensive fire protection system.
Custom fire protection system for Orsini: sprinklers, fire hose reel system, and equipment managed by Equans France
The new building, which covers nearly 10,000 m², is equipped with a comprehensive fire protection system that complies with current standards and is more effective than the one in the old factory.
It includes:
-
More than 1,200 sprinkler heads, effectively covering the offices, production areas, and storage spaces.
-
A fire hose reel system (RIA) with 16 hoses strategically positioned for rapid response in the event of a fire.
-
All essential equipment for the installation: water source, pump station, and control stations.
These systems guarantee optimal protection to ensure the safety of people and property.
Equans France, Orsini’s strategic partner for rapid recovery and enhanced protection
The teams at Axima Sécurité Incendie supported the manufacturer from the very start of the project. They helped draw up the specifications and proposed appropriate technical solutions.
The quality of communication and the availability of Axima Sécurité Incendie’s staff fostered a strong relationship of trust with Orsini.
This was essential in the context of this post-fire emergency, where a rapid resumption of operations was necessary.
Thanks to this collaboration, the company was able to quickly resume operations with enhanced fire protection.
Equans France enabled 40 employees to return to work and meet the requirements of the Orsini woodworking shop.
This success paves the way for an expansion project, planned for after operations resume.
