The Grand Siècle Museum: Equans France at the Heart of an Ambitious Cultural Project
At the historic site of the Sully Barracks in Saint-Cloud (92), a project led by the Hauts-de-Seine department is underway: the creation of the Musée du Grand Siècle, designed by architect Rudy Ricciotti, in a renovated 12,000 m² building.
As part of the Hauts-de-Seine Valley of Culture, alongside the Seine Musicale and the Albert Kahn Museum, this future museum will pay tribute to the 17th century and will house a research center on French drawing, immersive virtual reality spaces, and a gourmet restaurant.

To preserve and showcase the historical heritage that will be on display, our Axima teams—a division of Equans France—are working through the summer of 2026 to install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and smoke extraction systems, ensuring optimal indoor conditions for the artworks through rigorous control of temperature and humidity.
Starting with the design phase, a 3D approach was integrated to optimize project management and ensure efficient and precise execution.
Axima plans to provide 4,500 hours of professional integration on this project.
Thank you to the Hauts-de-Seine department, FAYAT Bâtiment, and TPFI for their confidence in this major project for the cultural heritage of the Île-de-France region.
