Caroline, electrician undergoing retraining and work-study student at Bouygues Energies & Services, part of Equans France
Previously in the advertising sector, Caroline is undergoing retraining as part of the Electra promotion: a 12-month, 100% female vocational training course run in partnership with the Centre Gustave Eiffel, leading to a qualification as a building electrician.
Now a student on a work-study program in electrical engineering at our Bouygues Energies & Services entity, she carries out tests on electrical equipment before it is commissioned, while ensuring that safety conditions are met.
A balancing act between her studies and on-site assignments, with a constant demand for performance and adaptability.
Her message to future women who want to enter a technical profession?
"The energy and services sector is exciting. In my day-to-day work, I meet women on construction sites, some of whom have been with the Group for several years. I feel very supported in my reconversion and that's a plus!"
