Maintenance of Operational Readiness for La Fayette-class Light Stealth Frigates (FLF)
Locations: worldwide (port of call)
Contract duration: 6 years (2017–2022)
Issues
Ensure the availability of the “Weapons/Equipment” systems on the Lafayette-class frigates (5 FLFs). The scope of work includes:
• Radars (surveillance and navigation),
• The Information Processing System (STI),
• Transmission systems,
• Navigation systems, lights, and stabilization systems,
• Maintenance to ensure the safe operation of equipment incorporating software.
Carry out several upgrades, including:
• Installation of a “fire video surveillance” system for engines and auxiliary equipment,
• Modernization of the VIGISCAN Infrared Panoramic Vision system.
Solutions
Establishment of a team of specialists at the Toulon naval base, responsible for:
• Overall management and engineering of MCO,
• Preventive maintenance during scheduled technical outages,
• Corrective maintenance and in-service support,
• Modification and upgrade services,
• Ensuring the safety of all FLF software,
• Performing services based on rate schedules and quotes.
Supporting the industrialization and engineering departments at the Sophia Antipolis facility.
