Sustainable Mobility: Equans Celebrates a Decade of Partnership with Casa Transports
For the past 10 years, Equans France, through its subsidiary Ineo Systrans, has been supporting Casa Transports SA, the company responsible for developing Casablanca’s public transit network, in Morocco, to facilitate public transit travel for the city’s 4 million residents.
The Operations Support and Passenger Information System (SAEIV) NAVINEO by Equans was launched in 2012 on the T1 tram line, in 2019 on the T2 line, and deployed in 2021 across the fleet of 700 buses in Morocco’s economic capital. In 2021, CTSA renewed its confidence in the NAVINEO system to equip its future lines: lines 1 and 2 of Casabusway and lines 3 and 4 of Casatramway.
A rapidly expanding public transportation network
To make public transportation more attractive and establish a high-quality multimodal transportation system, the local development company Casa Transports SA has been working with Ineo Systrans since 2012. The Equans France subsidiary was initially tasked with equipping the 124 trams on Casablanca’s T1 and T2 lines, which are now operated by RATPDEV and fully operational.
