At the Heart of the Regions: Equans France Consolidates Its Expertise in Bonneuil-sur-Marne
On June 23, Equans France inaugurated its new office in Bonneuil-sur-Marne (94), bringing together the expertise of Axima Réfrigération and Bouygues Energies & Services under one roof. Completely renovated for the occasion, this space was designed as a hub for collaboration and innovation to support the energy, digital, and industrial transitions for the benefit of customers and to promote local job creation.
An agency with a wide range of expertise
The site is home to approximately 150 employees from several agencies that were previously spread throughout the department, including two employees in a work integration program. Now housed in a new 1,300 m² building, the teams enjoy a modern work environment designed to balance comfort and energy efficiency. The building, rated B on the energy performance certificate, features seven charging stations for the internal fleet, which has transitioned to electric vehicles.
Located in a densely populated industrial and commercial area, this consolidation strengthens the coordination of Equans’ expertise in Val-de-Marne. Bouygues Energies & Services supports numerous local governments in outdoor infrastructure projects aimed at improving the region’s energy efficiency. Axima Réfrigération serves more than 400 private clients within the department, in the retail, food processing, and logistics sectors.
An agency dedicated to local employment
This local momentum goes hand in hand with an active recruitment policy. Each year, between 15 and 20 new hires are made locally, confirming the agency’s role as a driver of economic and social development at the heart of the Val-de-Marne department.
Today, numerous positions are open at the agency, particularly at Bouygues Energies & Services, which has several openings to be filled by the end of the year: electrical network installer, electrician team leader, and design office technician. Axima Réfrigération, for its part, is recruiting refrigeration technicians, construction project managers, and after-sales service representatives.
To raise awareness of their professions and attract new candidates, the teams are stepping up their outreach efforts: presentations at schools, site visits for young people, and welcoming individuals seeking career transitions. For example, several initiatives have been carried out for several years in collaboration with the Ivry-Vitry Local Mission, which works to promote the social and professional integration of young people aged 16 to 25: career presentations, CV-writing workshops, “job dating” events, and mock interviews, held once or twice a year. The agency also participates annually in the Mission Locale’s job fair, a key event for promoting its job openings, reaffirming its commitment to integration, and contributing to the vitality of the local job market. In line with this approach, the agency currently has 8% of its workforce made up of work-study students, with a clear ambition to expand its use of this tool for professional integration.
