Ineo Systrans, a division of Equans France and a global leader in Operations Support and Passenger Information Systems (SAEIV), has been selected by Brampton Transit to modernize its entire bus fleet using its NAVINEO solution. Brampton, one of Canada’s fastest-growing major cities, with a population of 700,000 and more than 90,000 businesses, is a leader in the electrification of its public transit fleet. By improving the quality of service on its 475 buses—which will serve more than 31 million passengers in 2022 across 70 fixed routes— the City of Brampton is at the forefront of technological and environmental innovation and is promoting the development of safer, more sustainable, and more accessible mobility.
