Equans Opens a New Branch to Serve Businesses in the Moselle Region
Local Presence and Decarbonization
A new Ineo ITE branch—a division of Equans France specializing in electrical and mechanical installations, as well as gas detection and industrial valves—has just opened its doors in Creutzwald, Moselle. A hub for creativity, innovation, and expertise, this branch was designed to support the sustainability and decarbonization initiatives of industrial and service sector companies located near the Carling petrochemical complex.
A place dedicated to serving local businesses
Located in the Moselle region for nearly 40 years and based in Saint-Avold since 1985, the Ineo ITE office has relocated to address two key challenges: the need to be as close as possible to its clients, who are located at the Carling petrochemical complex, and the desire to bring all of Ineo ITE’s areas of expertise together under one roof. The facility houses teams specializing in electrical work as well as the installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment (boilermakers, industrial maintenance mechanics, valve fitters, industrial electricians, instrumentation technicians, and design office technicians).
A truly long-term vision was implemented for this 2,510 m² building, which was designed over two years with the support of the Warndt Community of Municipalities. In addition to offering a more attractive geographic location, the facility—which will now house the company’s 170 employees—was also designed to accommodate rooftop solar panels and shade structures in the parking lot.
Supporting the emergence of a dynamic region with strong potential for green industry
All of Ineo ITE’s activities are based on local innovations, the needs of manufacturers, and future major projects in this department, which is currently undergoing a process of revitalization and sustainable transition. The Carling petrochemical platform region is a pioneer in many areas, such as hydrogen, recycling, and biomethane. As a result, several contracts are contributing to the greening of Creutzwald and its surroundings, and the “Chemesis” economic platform was created to promote the site’s appeal with the aim of attracting new industrial projects. This initiative represents another step forward in supporting industries and commercial buildings in their energy, industrial, and digital transitions. As such, Ineo ITE aims to hire 10 to 20 people within the next two years to meet its clients’ project needs.
Thanks to the manufacturers based at the Carling platform, Ineo ITE has continuously evolved and built up its expertise over the past 40 years. Today, this evolution requires us to support our clients as effectively as possible in their growth and development to address the challenges of decarbonization and reindustrialization. The broader goal is to achieve carbon neutrality while securing the industrial and economic future of the Moselle region, which is particularly crucial for this area. Says Laurent Drougard, Regional Director at Equans France.
