For 7 months, you’ll benefit from comprehensive training, dividing your time between high-quality sessions with our educational partners—experts in refrigeration—and days spent at our branch offices.
Working alongside our experienced and passionate teams, you’ll develop your skills on the job and advance with personalized support.
Upon completion of the training, you’ll earn the Professional Certification as a Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Technician (TIFCC) and begin your career with our teams as a refrigeration technician.

What degree will you earn?
You will earn a Professional Certificate as a Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician (TIFCC), issued by our educational partners at AFPI.
This is a Level 4 professional certification, equivalent to a vocational high school diploma, which confers the status of technician.

The PASS’FROID Program: How Does It Work?
Theoretical sessions at an AFPI center: You will take 2- to 3-week training modules at an AFPI center (Lille, Vitré, or Lyon), returning home on weekends. EQUANS covers all costs related to your training: lodging, meals, and travel.
On-the-job training at an EQUANS branch: You’ll be assigned to an EQUANS branch near your home, where you’ll apply your knowledge in the field under the supervision of an experienced refrigeration technician.
Professional Certification: At the end of the 7-month program, you’ll receive a professional certification issued by the AFPI and recognized in the refrigeration industry.
Permanent Contract at Your Branch: Upon completion of the training, you’ll continue your career with a permanent contract at your EQUANS branch as a refrigeration technician.
