Renovation of Nanterre City Hall: A Large-Scale Urban Project
Since last year, Equans France has been contributing to the renovation project for Nanterre City Hall and its surrounding area.
What are the tasks for the municipality? Rethinking, restoring to a natural state, and improving access to this busy area to make it more attractive while meeting the energy efficiency commitments for its building stock.
As part of a 5-year Global Performance Contract, our teams are responsible for bringing the technical systems of this 18,000 m² public building into compliance with regulations and modernizing them.
The goal is to reduce energy consumption by 30% per year for three years, while ensuring user comfort.
With completion scheduled for 2026, Axima is carrying out work on HVAC, heating, ventilation, smoke exhaust, and Ineo; the installation of electrical systems, including the replacement of lighting in the restaurant and parking garages; fire safety; and the installation of photovoltaic panels.
At the same time, the Equans Services, Buildings & Infrastructure teams—which specialize in facility management and multi-technical maintenance—will manage the building’s operations, monitoring, and energy performance for a period of 5 years.
