Commissioning of the Millery (69) Solar Power Plant

Terre et Lac Solaire has entrusted Ineo MPLR, a subsidiary of Equans France, with a key role in the construction of the Millery solar power plant. Equans France led the design, construction, and commissioning of this landmark project, transforming a former industrial site into a modern facility that produces clean, renewable energy. This collaboration exemplifies our shared commitment to energy and sustainable transitions.

Transforming a Former Quarry into a Sustainable Renewable Energy Production Site

We are proud to announce the commissioning of the Millery solar power plant, a turnkey project carried out for our client Terre et Lac Solaire. This project has transformed a former 17.5-hectare quarry into a site dedicated to renewable energy production. The project stands out for its concrete measures that ensure both the facility’s performance and respect for biodiversity:

  • Construction of a 10.8 MW photovoltaic power plant

  • 17,160 modules installed and wired

  • 3 transformer stations integrated by Ineo

  • 26 inverters installed

  • 377 structures installed

  • 1.7 km of trenches dug

  • Over 2.5 km of trails created or reinforced

  • Scheduled to open in December 2025, on schedule

A Commitment to Local Biodiversity

To balance energy development with respect for nature, more than 40 ecological features have been incorporated to support the site’s flora and fauna. 

Birdhouses, bat boxes, insect hotels, and ponds demonstrate the care taken to protect the environment. 

In addition, alternative drilling techniques were used to adapt to the natural instability of the terrain.
