Equans France Earns the EcoVadis “Platinum” Medal
Equans France, a leader in the energy and services sector, has been awarded the EcoVadis “Platinum” medal, the highest level of recognition for CSR performance. Equans France is thus ranked among the “Top 1%” of the highest-performing and best-rated companies in corporate social responsibility (CSR) among all companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
The EcoVadis methodology is based on four major themes—environment, social and human rights, ethics, and responsible procurement—which are analyzed through 21 indicators. Receiving the “Platinum” medal honors and recognizes the policies implemented by Equans France across these four areas, as well as their operational implementation.
Equans France, which recently published its CSR* report, implements concrete, sustainable, and distinctive actions at the heart of all its projects, whether internal or external.
This enabled the company in 2023 to prevent the emission of 600 kilotons of CO₂, reduce its electricity consumption by nearly 20% between 2021 and 2023, and provide more than 480,000 hours of employment opportunities in accordance with social clauses in 2023.
In line with this same momentum, Equans France is working to achieve new goals for 2026: reducing CO2 emissions from its vehicles and buildings by 7% annually, ensuring 100% of its employees receive training each year, and systematically incorporating low-carbon solutions into all its major project proposals to support its clients in a virtuous cycle.
At the heart of the commitments and solutions provided to clients every day, a company-wide effort is underway to ensure that the group’s CSR policy is communicated and implemented across its 700 branches throughout France and among the 35,000 employees who make up Equans France.
